As a former HR manager for the FPL Turkey Point nuclear plant, David Bezanilla fully understands the pressures and pitfalls that come with doing human resources. He uses that experience as his base for building relationships with HR directors across the tri-county area. After graduating from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, David was at Florida Power & Light for 19 years. While there he worked his way up from Customer Service Generalist all the way up to Employee Benefits Director.

In 2006, David joined Financial Designs as an agent. Now our Vice President, he is happy to offer his clients the sort of freedom of choice & flexibility that he wanted as an HR director. His years of experience on both sides of the employee benefits equation gives him a unique perspective that is a huge asset to his clients.
